How to prepare for your test
Prepare for your Measles Mumps Rubella immunity (MMR) Blood test by following these instructions. Do not take biotin supplements for two days before this test, discuss this with your doctor if it is prescribed.

Measles IgG - Measles IgG is a blood test that measures Immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies to the measles virus. This test helps determine whether a person has immunity to measles, either from past infection or vaccination.
Mumps IgG - Mumps IgG is a blood test that checks for Immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies to the mumps virus. This test is used to determine whether someone has immunity to mumps, either from previous infection or vaccination (usually the MMR vaccine: Measles, Mumps, Rubella).
